Questions people actually ask
The short answers, honestly given.
Does it really work with no internet?
Yes — that's the whole point. Enclave runs on one machine on your local network. Phones connect over the venue Wi-Fi (or a hotspot you control), and nothing ever leaves the room.
What hardware do I need?
A laptop is plenty. The stack is a single Docker Compose file: API, database and the attendee app, all served from one host.
Can votes be audited?
Every ballot is append-only and every tally round — each elimination and transfer — exports as JSON or CSV. Tie-breaks are deterministic, so an independent auditor can replay the whole count and get byte-identical results.
What does "one-time" mean?
You pay once for the licence, run the event, and keep the software. There is no subscription and nothing phones home to check a licence server — that would rather defeat the point.
Not sure which fits?
Tell us about your event and we'll recommend the right setup — usually within a day.
